Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has shared ‘proof of life’ after his management allegedly faked his death.

KanyiDaily recalls that Oladips’s management announced on Wednesday via his Instagram page that the 28-year-old rapper died on Tuesday night, November 14.

Hours after the announcement, Oladips’s close friend, Sir Coolest contradicted the news via his Instagram story, asserting that the rapper is alive and well.

Sir Coolest said that Oladips had just finished eating, revealing that the rapper faked his death just promote his album to top the music charts.

On Thursday, November 23, Oladips shared a confirmation of his well-being through a video posted on his Instagram story.

In the video, titled in Yoruba as “Orisha bi Iya Kosi” (There is no deity like a mother), he is casually seen spending time outside his house with an elderly woman, presumed to be his grandmother.

Oladips’ obituary post on his Instagram page has also been deleted, further emphasizing the inaccuracy of the previous reports.

Meanwhile, rapper Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, better known as Qdot, had previously confirmed that Oladips is still alive.
