Ogun State Commissioner for Environment, Ola Oresanya, has announced a comprehensive green belt project aimed at transforming the Lagos-Ibadan expressway from Berger to Interchange. The initiative will involve planting grass and trees along the route and constructing public toilets to improve the overall environment and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area.

The commissioner for Environment stated that the project is designed to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation in the region. The green belt will provide numerous benefits, including air purification, temperature regulation, and an improved visual experience for travelers.

In addition to the green belt project, Oresanya revealed plans for improved waste management in Ogun State.
