Governor Umo Eno has flagged off the construction of permanent State Command headquarters of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the State.
Performing the inauguration which coincided with passing out Parade of 34 new intakes, the governor thanked the NSCDC for maintaining the security architecture of the state especially in the area of securing critical infrastructure and emergency response.
Represented by the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, the governor admonished them to be resourceful in adding value to the service of Nigeria through the NSCDC.
