Akwa Ibom State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested 13 suspects for committing offences ranging from illegal dealing in petroleum products, illegal mining and stealing of household wires in the state.
The state Commandant of NSCDC, Eluwade Eluyemi explained that the arrest was made possible by the tactical squad of the corps who swung into action after receiving credible intelligence.
He assured that the corps will not rest on its quest in combating crimes while calling on the residents to shun all forms of crimes or face the full wrath of the law.
