According to politician Peter Obi, the majority of Nigerians’ purchasing power is declining daily.

This was said on X by the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for 2023, who was also criticizing the withdrawal of international corporations from Nigeria.

According to Obi’s writings, the reason international corporations are abandoning Nigeria is that the country’s supposed productivity-based growth is no longer present.

According to Obi, the fact that these major international corporations are leaving Nigeria demonstrates that the country’s medium- to long-term development plan is failing, that our investment profile is unattractive, and that the business climate is steadily getting worse.

He emphasized that to demonstrate that the situation has changed, governments in Nigeria at all levels must act quickly to ensure that institutions of governance are established and actively engaged.
