It is painful and annoying that even supposedly younger politicians in Nigeria are quick to adopt the eccentric and idiosyncratic behaviour of age old politicians!
What's with the cane 🦯 and all the needless pomp and pageantry???
This goes to show once more that our so called leaders are not visionarable, smart, clueless, can not think right to take the right decisions, when it comes to just taking 20 mins out the 24 hrs of a day to think about the most pressing issues of their people. Remodelling a Stadium with an Olympic size swimming pool is the top most priority on the minds of the citizens of Akwa Ibom? Ex Governor Akpabio spent about $250 million to build a 25,000 capacity stadium in Akwa Ibom. How many football clubs do they have are in the state? That facility is hardly used and it is costing the state a lot on maintainance, money that could have been invested in Vocational training schools, agric, livestock or fishfarms, any investment that can creat jobs for the youths. Lack of foresight and misplaced priority is our problem.
Am proud of my Governor Udom Immanuel commissioning so many edifice of projects.
