The funny thing is that on both roads, the AKS axis is still very much motorable than the Abia State axis o. Any frequent user of these roads can attest to this.

The boundary between every two state is usually bad. Does not mean it’s all bad till you get to umuahia.

Without road markings how can they detect which driver is at fault in times of accident?
Shamelessly, look at an interstate road in Nigeria, Uyo Akwa Ibong to Aba Abia States, I am from Anambra State, Agulu precisely, the roads are the same, dusty, potholed infact rubbish.

Not until the people start demanding good infrastructure from the government nobody is going to give them good infrastructures..Local government should have road building equipment, building and maintaining roads like these.A country that's paying senators 34 thousand dollars in bonuses alone yet the country roads are this bad. A Country that's wasted 40 billion dollars on fuel subsidy in the last 12 years alone, money that could fund lagos to kano train, portharcout to maiduguri train, east west train, kano to maradi train, major highways, healthcare and Asuu comfortably without borrowing.Even at subsidies rate people would spend more on fuel driving on bad roads. It will work out cheaper driving on good roads without subsidy than driving on bad roads with subsidy. Not to mention all the other economic benefits that good road brings like travel and tourism, holidays, hotels, food stuff transportation, which reduces food prices etc. Good roads is the backbone of a nation, state and communities. Hope you got home safely. Thank you.
