Lauretta Onochie,  immediate past Chairman of the Governing Board, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has stated that Mr. Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25, 2023, Presidential Election, will “never be declared” the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

ConsumerConnect reports Onochie made the statement Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in reaction to Obi’s earlier press conference, where he challenged President Tinubu to reveal his “true identity”.

Speaking at the media briefing Wednesday, in Abuja, FCT, Obi had called out Tinubu to reveal his true identity to Nigerians.

His request came against the backdrop of the recent academic records saga of the Nigerian President released by the Chicago State University (CSU), in the United States (US).

Onochie, in a series of tweets via her verified in X (formerly Twitter) account wrote: “Go home, Peter. You will never be declared president of our great nation.

“Apart from the simple fact that you came a distant third, you don’t deserve to lead our nation.”

The ex-NDDC Board Chairman also tweeted: “Your temperament and disposition are not the attributes needed to lead a diverse nation such as Nigeria.”

She equally lamented that under his (Obi’s) watch, the South-East region of the country became a “war zone,” with the outlawed activities of IPOB, and others, as well as how the economy and property of residents were destroyed.

“You failed Anambra (State). You can’t even lead the South-east! Under your nose, the South-East became a war zone.

“A once vibrant economy built on hard work was destroyed.

“Lives and properties are ruined. Shelf your desperation. Your ambition is beyond what you deserve. It will never come to pass,” Onochie noted.

She further criticised the former Governor of Anambra State’s press conference on the identity of Tinubu.

Onochie described Obi’s move in this regard as the “most idiotic request”.

The erstwhile NDDC Board Chairman also criticised  why Obi would question Tinubu, who, having served as a two-term Governor of Lagos State, was cleared of security checks.

“Dear Peter Obi, You have shamelessly just gone on national TV to call on the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to reveal his identity to Nigerians and the world.

“This is the most idiotic request, Nigerians have had the misfortune of hearing from one, whose advisers are people with mental health issues.

“How can you allow yourself to be used to question the identity of a man, who has been in the limelight since his youth?” she asked.

Her tweets read: “How can you come low to the level of your gullible followers to begin this late in the day, to question the identity of a man who was checked by our security operatives and cleared twice to govern the most successful and cosmopolitan state in Nigeria, Lagos?

“If you can come on national TV to question the identity of a man who was cleared by all our security operatives to become a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, that’s enough justification and validation for your resounding rejection at the polls in 2023.”

Onochie waxed paradoxical by stating, “finally, you want to know our President’s true identity. Well, his real name is, Nemesis Jupiter.

“His father Karma, is the King of Jupiter who married Nemesis’ mother from Mars.

“When Mr. President was 25 years old, his family came from Jupiter to swim at the bar beach in Lagos.

“They left him at the bar beach to fend for himself. So at 25, he did not go to primary, secondary or any tertiary institution.

“I hope you’re happy now.

“Just go home, Peter. Put your feet up and enjoy your retirement and grandchildren as I’m doing.”
