A handful of commissioners from the cabinet of the Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom have resigned their positions.
This is in line with a directive given by the governor to those who are interested in seeking elective positions in the state.
Many who have resigned say they are determined to use their experience in governance to bring lasting peace to the state.
