KOGI STATE FORUM OF FORMER POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS UNDER GYB FIRST TENURE (2016 – 2019) PLEADING WITH HIS EXCELLENCY, ALH. DR. YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO, CON, TO PAY THEIR OUTSTANDING BENEFITS & SEVERANCE PACKAGE AS PARTING GIFT.
The Former Political Appointees under the name: Kogi State Forum of Former Political Office Holders in the first tenure of GYB Family, have cried out to His Excellency, Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his benevolence, kindness and magnanimous touch of heart to pay off all their benefits and severance package outstanding since they were disengaged on 2nd December, 2019 after the victory recorded at the Governorship Election for GYB’s second term of Office.
Pleading for and on behalf of the Forum, Dr. Abdulsalam Bawa Dangana (Former SSA on Legislative and Assembly Matters) thanked His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for the opportunity given to them to serve at the time, emphasizing that those of them still in the party, APC worked assiduously and tirelessly using their personal hard earned resources to ensure that Victory was recorded at the Polls in the last Gubernatorial Election which ushered in His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo (Governor-Elect) and His Excellency, Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu (Deputy Governor-Elect).
In the same light, the Forum Secretary, Hon. Ademu Usman Idakwo (Former SSA on New Media) eulogized the good qualities of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, for paying off the outstanding salaries of the former Political Appointees under the past PDP Governments of Governors Alh. Ibrahim Idris (IBRO) and Captain Idris Ichalla Wada respectively. Hoping and praying for the same understanding and benevolence as a parting gift from this present APC-led Administration of the New Direction, the statement concludes.
