In a recent statement, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last general elections, urged Nigerian youths to persevere and collaborate in dismantling the criminality and corruption that has infiltrated various levels of government.

Obi advised them not to shrink in the face of difficult challenges and prevalent bad governance in the nation, emphasizing the need for them to raise their voices and demand good governance.

Issuing the advice during his keynote speech at a program focused on “Accelerating Actions to Achieve the SDGs in Nigeria Through Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement,” which took place in Enugu State, Obi stressed the importance of youth involvement in entrepreneurship.

Highlighting the significance of entrepreneurship in building a strong small business sector to boost the economy, foster productivity, and shift the country from consumption to production, he encouraged the youths to venture into entrepreneurship despite the challenges they face in the country.

Obi also reminded the youths that they have a stake in Nigeria and must not succumb to the current difficult challenges and pervasive bad governance. Instead, he urged them to raise their voices and demand good governance while emphasizing the necessity of collectively working to dismantle the criminality and corruption that has permeated various levels of government in the nation.
