Kano has always been notorious for blatant illegal voting. Now you can imagine what that portends for census counts which are a lot easier to manipulate.

I must confess that before yesterday, I thought NNPP was more popular than APC in Kano state. I was quite surprised at the judgement in question. Or was NNPP the Party that attempted to bribe the Judges on the Tribunal? The Tribunal did not tell us, who exertly was involved with that. If indeed, it was the Party, that automatically would count against it. Of course, from experience, I do know that the outcome of the Presidential election in the concerned State, may have been a different Kettle of Fish, from the Governorship one in the State. At the same time, the internal ranglin within the NNPP could also have affected the fortune of the Party at the Tribunal as well. There's still Right of Appeal up to Supreme Court level on the matter though. Let's see what will happen there. In the meantime, big congratulations to the APC Flag bearer at the Election.
