The recent judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), which upheld the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has been described as “just and fair.”

The assertion was made by the Chairman, Arewa Youths Awareness on Leadership and Election in Bauchi State, Khamis Musa Darazo, in a statement he signed and issued to Journalists in Bauchi on Saturday.

While reacting to the judgement, Khamis Musa Darazo stated that it was passed in the best interest of Nigerians and the country’s democratic growth and development.

He therefore congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC), which upheld his February 25, 2023 election.

Khamisu Musa further stated that the judiciary has once again proven to be the last hope of the common man, appealing to the Presidential candidates of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to join forces with the Bola Tinubu-led Federal administration in delivering good governance to Nigerians.

He wrote, “Congratulations on your resounding victory in the tribunal case against Presidential Candidates of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi.”

He further wrote, “As a loyal citizen and supporter of your vision for our nation, I am overjoyed by this victory. I want to remind you of my promise to rename my daughter Hauwa in memory of your mother, Abidatuh, and I reiterate my commitment to fulfilling that promise.”

Khamis Musa Darazo added, “Your triumph at the Presidential Petition Tribunal is a testament to your determination and the restoration of the hope of millions of Nigerians.”

“Your leadership has garnered unwavering support and loyalty. I am honoured to pay homage to your mother by naming my daughter Hauwa after her, the name that carries a legacy of resilience and strength that Abidatuh embodies,” he added.

The Chairman of the group added “I also want to extend my gratitude for your dedication to the people of this nation as well as your vision and commitment to the betterment of our nation. This outstanding attribute has continued to inspire individuals to support your administration.”

According to him, “This victory is an opportunity for all Nigerians to unite and build a nation that has a bright future. I congratulate you once again. May your tenure as President be crowned with success, more achievements, and positive changes for Nigeria.”

“In addition, I wish to inform you that the naming ceremony of my daughter, Hauwa, will be held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa. This would be a symbol of the unity and shared aspirations of all Nigerians under your leadership.” The Statement reads:
