The Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has declared that he is focused on reclaiming his stolen victory at the Supreme Court.

Obi made the declaration on Thursday, October 5, after filing an application to join an appeal by his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu at the Supreme Court.

Obi’s response was contained in a statement signed by Obiora Ifoh, who is the National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party.

He explained in the statement that Obi was focused on ensuring Nigeria gets the leadership it deserves.

On the other hand, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has maintained that it is the Supreme Court ruling that will end his fight against President Tinubu.

Atiku has continued to battle with President Tinubu at the courts as the ruling party accuses him of faulting the President’s academic records.

The ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC), has insisted that President Tinubu studied and graduated with genuine certificates from the Chicago State University.

Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja, Atiku revealed that he refused to welcome the president’s representatives into his residence after the February 25, elections.

He added that they had been sent to convince him to accept defeat in the February 2023 presidential elections.
