December 17, (THEWILL) – During the week, General Theophilus Danjuma (Retd.) clocked 86 years. Rather than throw a lavish party, he chose to give thanks to God for keeping him alive, hale and hearty. The Octogenarian held a prayer session in his Lagos home and quite a handful of dignitaries joined him in the prayer session. He later hosted them to a small reception with his wife, Daisy Danjuma, playing the perfect hostess. Some of those present at the event included the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Agbu Kefas, Taraba State governor; Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election; David Adeleke, aka Davido, etc.

Recall that THEWILL had reported about two weeks ago how he had donated $1.36m to the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan for the building of a new hostel block for students in celebration of his birthday. The donation was the highest individual donation so far received by the institution and it was made through the T.Y. Danjuma Foundation in response to an earlier request by the college towards the realisation of the student hostel building project.
