There is no headway yet in the feud between the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Philip Shuaib. Governor Obaseki has denied plans to impeach Shaibu, describing his move to seek a court order to stop his purported impeachment as preemptive. He said Shuaib is already making moves ahead of his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
