Terrorists launched a fresh attack on the Dogon-noma community in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of Saturday. This attack occurred just three days after a previous incident where one person was killed, and eight women were kidnapped in the Banono Angwaku community within the same local government area.
Cafra Caino, a former chairman of the local government, confirmed the latest attack to the media. He stated that they are yet to determine the number of casualties as the locals fled for their lives when the assailants invaded the community.
The attackers reportedly arrived in the village around 5:45 am on Saturday in significant numbers, shooting indiscriminately and spreading fear and chaos among the residents.
This latest attack underscores the persistent security challenges faced by communities in Kaduna State, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced security measures and proactive efforts to address terrorism and violence in the region.
