Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State has died.
According to a statement by Chief Rob Ezeife on behalf of the family on Friday, the elder statesman died at 6 pm on Thursday.
“On behalf of the Ezeife Dynasty of Igbo-Ukwu, I wish to announce the elevation to glory of our most distinguished son, ‘Okwadike,’ Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON, a former Federal Permanent Secretary, a former governor of Anambra State, a former Political Adviser to the President, and a former Presidential aspirant,” the statement read.
Ezeife died at Abuja’s Federal Medical Centre (FMC).
