Politics is not dirty; it is a clean job. But when filthy persons get into politics, they stain it with their dirt and filthy politicians turn around to claim that politics is a dirty game in order
to justify their splashes of filths on politics. Since the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 25, 2023 presidential election, his defeated opponents, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi have become ideological voyeurs
and fault finders. Relying on their abilities to propound and market spurious absurdities, Abubakar and Obi claimed at the Presidential Election Tribunal that each one of them won the presidential election contrary to INEC’s declared results of 8,794,726;
6,984,520 and 6,101,533 for Tinubu, Abubakar and Obi respectively. Obi who came third in the Presidential election had opined that the Supreme Court who installed Hope Uzodinma who came fourth in the Imo governorship election, in 2019, as governor would also
declare him the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Let’s recall what happened in the Imo Governorship election in 2019. The outgoing APC Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, had wanted his son-in-law to succeed him as Governor which APC rejected
and instead, nominated Senator Hope Uzodinma. Uche had to contest the governorship election on the platform of AA. Emeka Ihedioha contested on the platform of PDP and another candidate contested on the platform of APGA. Imo State contains 27 Local Government
Areas with 305 electoral wards and 3,523 polling units. Election was cancelled in 252 polling units because of violence leaving a total of 3,271 polling units to be collated. But INEC collated only 2, 883 polling units to declare Emeka Ihedioha, the PDP candidate
winner of the election. Results from 388 polling units where Hope Uzodinma was strong were not collated and INEC could not explain why, when the results surfaced through a whistle blower in INEC. Results from the 388 polling units were accepted and counted
by the Supreme Court with the consequence that Uzodinma came first instead of the fourth place the INEC result had placed him. Thus, the Court declared him elected. Peter Gregory Obi had to prove similar situation at the PEPT in order to be declared elected
President from his third-position result as declared by the INEC.
At PEPT, Abubakar and Obi’s challenge to the election victory of Tinubu over them was anchored on the following : Tinubu was not qualified to contest in the presidential election because he had been
convicted in a drug-related case in 1993, in the US; he has dual nationality; he failed to secure 25% of the votes in FCT, Abuja; they each claimed that they won the highest votes but non-transmission of election results from the polling units enabled the
INEC to rig the results in favour of Tinubu. The PEPT dismissed Abubakar and Obi’s petitions on September 6, 2023 for being frivolous which both of them have now appealed against at the Supreme Court. While appeals to the Supreme Court were yet to be lodged,
Atiku Abubakar engaged lawyers in the US to ask the Court to compel Chicago State University to surrender Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Academic records to him. After receiving the said academic records of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku addressed a so-called world press conference
in Abuja on October 5, 2023, where he talked about dubious certificates of politicians and called on Nigerians to join him in his,
“campaign to enshrine probity, accountability and basic principles of justice, morality and uprightness in our country and in our government.”
On that same day, October 5, 2023, Atiku Abubakar through his lawyer, Chris Uche (SAN) filed an application urging the Supreme Court to grant him permission to produce fresh additional
evidence – documents, including a deposition on oath of an official of the Chicago State University concerning Mr. Tinubu’s academic records. As if Atiku Abubakar cannot wait for the decision of the Supreme Court, the former Vice President on the 9th of
October 2023 advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tread the path of honour and resign from office because his CSU certificate which he filed with INEC was forged. Thus, Atiku Abubakar is a prosecutor and a judge in his own case. Two days after Atiku Abubakar
found Tinubu guilty of forgery in his own court, Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi called ‘a world press conference’ on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He told the world among other things,
“The world now sees every Nigeria over the world as a fraudster, certificate forger and identity thief because of what Tinubu did at Chicago State University. Bola Tinubu should reintroduce himself to the nation he governs, and tell the nation who he
is, where he is from, where he went to school, and his real name. …. if at any time he has had a change of name, he should clearly state so and the circumstances. It is also about integrity, morality, values and the rule of law that defines character of
the nation and its people.” Ideologically and politically, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi are birds of the same feather. While Atiku Abubakar was PDP presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Peter Obi was his running
mate. They were both in the PDP until May 24, 2022, when it dawned on Peter Obi that Abubakar was going to defy the zoning arrangement, enshrined in the PDP constitution, stipulating that it was the turn of the South to produce the president after eight years
of Buhari, a northerner. It is amusing that Atiku and Peter who themselves are morally corrupt are posing as moral crusaders and conscience of the nation. While Abubakar wants to enshrine probity, accountability and basic principle of Justice, morality and
uprightness in Nigeria and in government, Obi wants integrity, morality, values and the rule of law to define the character of the nation. To Atiku and Obi, the identity of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not known and his academic certificate is forged. Therefore, he
was not qualified to contest the 25th of February 2023 presidential election. Bola Ahmed Tinubu was Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 and his party Action Congress (AC) provided political sanctuary for Atiku Abubakar in 2007 to contest Presidential
election that year after he, Atiku, had been haunted out of PDP by Olusegun Obasanjo. But in 2023, Atiku and Peter are not sure of the identity of Bola!! Until Tuesday, 30 May 2023, when the Labour Party and Peter Obi’s witness, Lawrence Nwakaeti gave evidence
on the purported conviction of Bola Ahmed Tinubu on which Peter Obi based his disqualification of Tinubu to vie for the post of President, Nigerians and, in fact, the entire world believed that Tinubu was a drug convicted baron. Now, it appears the moral crusaders,
Atiku and Peter have dropped that argument for another one that the Tinubu who graduated from CSU is not the same Tinubu in Aso Rock Presidential Villa. Thus, Tinubu, according to Abubakar and Obi, is an identity thief and certificate forger who was not qualified
to contest the Presidential election of February 25, 2023.
Atiku Abubakar and Peter Gregory Obi would appear to be throwing stones, while in a glass house, at Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The first name in the WASCE certificate submitted to INEC by moral crusader, Alhaji
Abubakar, was Siddiq and not Atiku. Some of his other certificates indicate his name as Sadique or Sidique Abubakar, Atiku Abubakar or Atiku Jokoli. Atiku stated in his records that he left Nigerian Police College Kaduna when he was unable to present an O-level
result in mathematics and thereafter worked briefly as a Tax Officer in the Regional Ministry of Finance from where he gained admission to the school of Hygiene in Kano, in 1966.
Atiku claimed that he changed his name in the year 1965 from Siddiq to Atiku but the affidavit purported to have been deposed in support of the change of name was declared at the Chief Magistrate’s Court Registry in Lagos on August 18, 1973!! The affidavit
deposed to the change of name from Siddiq to Atiku in 1973 bears no official stamp or seal. Bearing in mind that the actual year of change of name from Siddiq to Atiku was 1965, why did it take 8 years to procure an affidavit to that effect? Can Siddiq alias
Atiku explain where he obtained unsealed affidavit without official stamp? Despite change of name in 1965, Atiku certainly worked in the Regional Ministry of Finance and received salary as Siddiq Abubakar and not as Atiku Abubakar because he did not notify
his employer about the change of his first name, why? Regretting his choice in picking Atiku Abubakar as his running mate in 1999, Olusegun Obasanjo wrote,
“What I did not know, which came out glaringly later, was his (Atiku Abubakar) parental background which was somewhat shadowy, his propensity to corruption, his tendency to disloyalty, his inability to say and stick to the truth all the time, a propensity
for poor judgement, his belief and reliance on marabouts, his lack of transparency, his trust in money to buy his way out on all issues and his readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety, truth and national interest for self and selfish interest.”
…..//… For instance, until later, when a distinguished chief from Bauchi pointed out to me the value of pedigree, queried Atiku’s pedigree and blamed me for making a wrong choice, I DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO ATIKU’s PARENTAL BACKGROUND.” (Olusegun Obasanjo,

In his, “We Undertook this Journey at a Great Cost” press Conference of 5th October 2023, Atiku quoted President of the United States from 1801 to 1809, Thomas Jefferson, who preferred newspaper
without government instead of government without newspaper. Atiku Abubakar has been honoured as
Grand Commander of Niger (GCON) but in practice he is Grand Conman of Nigeria (GCON). Why should Atiku be quoting former President Thomas Jefferson who he only read about in history books and leave out William A. Jefferson, the U.S. Black Congressman
with whom he, Atiku, connived to swindle Nigeria of several millions of U.S., dollars. The Congressman Jefferson was jailed while Atiku’s wife,
Jamila, nee Jennifer Iwenjiora Douglas, who was used by Atiku to launder suspect funds of over $40 million in the U.S., was declared wanted as she jumped bail and declared wanted by the U.S., authorities. The moral crusader, Atiku Abubakar, should have told
Nigerians about the U.S. Senate led Investigation by Senator Carl Levin that indicted him, Atiku Abubakar, for using offshore companies to bring suspect funds from Nigeria into the United States.
Saint Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, in his so-called world press conference of Wednesday, 11 October 2023, insinuated that the man sitting at Aso Rock Villa in Abuja as President is not the same person
that graduated from Chicago State University. Therefore, he implored Tinubu, who he addressed as Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu to re-introduce himself to Nigerians. Saint Obi was Governor of Anambra State for eight years, which was like making a hyena to keep watch
of a meat storage. Consequently, Saint Peter Obi who was tinny like a goat leg in 2006, when he became Governor of Anambra State, looked like a Japanese sumo wrestler eight years later when his tenure ended in 2014. When the people of Anambra were afflicted
with cholera and dysentery because of lack of potable water, Peter Obi invested $20 million of Anambra State’s funds in beer brewery at a share of N50 and he warehoused the rest of Anambra State’s fund in Fidelity Bank where he was a majority shareholder.
In 2013, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, relocated from Lagos14 persons to Anambra State who had turned spaces under the bridge in Lagos to their homes where they defecated and urinated openly. Saint Peter Obi howled at what he called the violation
of the right of the Igbo to live anywhere in Nigeria including living under bridges and defecating and urinating openly. But while perusing online Nigerian newspaper, one came across the online Leadership of 4 December 2011 where David-Chiddy Eleke reported
that the Anambra State Government arrested and repatriated 29 beggars to their home states in Ebonyi, another Igbo State, and Akwa Ibom. For the benefit of those who may not know who arrested and repatriated 29 beggars from Anambra, Saint Peter Obi was
Governor of Anambra State in 2011.
Pandora Papers revealed Peter Obi’s involvement in Offshore Companies in tax havens in the British Virgin Islands and Barbados. While serving as Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi was at the same
time the Director of UK Next International Limited in direct violation of Nigeria’s Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act. Obi’s non-declaration of his Offshore Companies was a criminal violation of the Nigerian Constitution which requires public officers
to declare all their properties, assets and liabilities. Yet, Obi’s chance of becoming PDP presidential flag bearer in the February 2023 election was very bright until May 24, 2022, when he realised that Atiku Abubakar had out staged him by contesting PDP’s
presidential primary despite the fact that the PDP Constitution had zoned the Presidency to the South after 8 years of Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency, as a northerner. As a political he goat, a real buck, Obi sniffed at the rump of the Labour Party on May 27,
2022 and within 72 hours he was able to prostitute and purchase LP’s presidential ticket. Thenceforth, the entire world see Nigeria as country of political whores because of how Atiku and Obi became presidential flag bearers of PDP and Labour Party respectively.
On Tuesday, 20 September 2022, INEC published list of candidates for 2023 general elections with their educational credentials. The publication showed that Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi presented only
his WAEC (GCE) result said to have been obtained on January 23, 1986. But Peter Obi has always advertised himself as a Graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and the public began to enquire why Peter Obi refrained from attaching his University degree
to his papers to INEC. On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, the spokesman to Peter Obi, Valentine Obienyem, published Peter Obi’s UNN degree so as to terminate the spread of rumour concerning his boss academic education. Valentine Obienyem said that on giving
him permission to publish his academic credential, Obi told him, “Val, to me, education is the gradual realization of our ignorance. Every day, we learn. Paper credentials are not and cannot be used to gauge one’s wisdom and intelligence.” Obi’s Bachelor
Degree in Philosophy from UNN was issued on December 15, 1984 but his GCE result was obtained on January 23, 1986, two years after he finished his tertiary education. This glaring discrepancy gave rise to some questions. Did Obi graduate from UNN before sitting
for WAEC? Which comes first, Degree or WAEC? Which secondary school certificate did he use to gain admission to UNN? Did Obi fraudulently obtain admission to study Philosophy at UNN? Who issued a UNN degree certificate to Obi on Saturday, a non-working day?
Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi must come out clean to clear any doubt about his academic background. Direct after graduating in Philosophy, Peter Obi entered business and banking where his knowledge in Philosophy is inapplicable.
To end this essay, I wish to say that if there is boil on the face of Jackal, according to Yoruba aphorism, fowl is not qualified to talk about. And as such, if Tinubu is not qualified to contest for
presidency in Nigeria neither Atiku Abubakar nor Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi is entitled to challenge him or should want to replace him.
