Officers and men of the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun 1 Area Command, have intercepted 949 rounds of live ammunition concealed in sacks of cassava flakes.
The Controller of the command, Ahmadu Shuaib says the successful operation was as a result of more than two weeks of relentless efforts of his men monitoring the movement of the contrabands from the Republic of Benin to Nigeria.
He said the suspected small glass managed to evade arrest and abandoned the contraband.
