Political activist, Deji Adeyanju, has urged presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to lead a protest against government.
With economic hardship in the country, many Nigerians have been staging protests in different parts of the country against the policies of the federal government.
However, the protests have not been able to yield the desired result as the economic hardship persists with the naira fast losing its value.
Adeyanju, in a post on X, urged Atiku and Obi to stage a protest against President Bola Tinubu or else it would mean they are working for the President.
He wrote, “Atiku and Obi should prove they are not working for Tinubu by leading a protest against the government. Kwankwaso is not even pretending so we know he will never lead any protest.”
In another post, he said, “Obi is the leader of the new Nigeria opposition, so he should please lead his army of obidients on a rescue mission / protest to salvage Nigeria. I am willing to accept his protest leadership on this and follow him as our leader. Atiku can even deputize Obi on this one.”
