A Court of Appeal sitting in Calabar has dismissed a suit filed by the PDP seeking the disqualification of the APC governorship candidate in Cross Rivers state, Senator Bassey, from the 2023 governorship election.
The PDP and its candidate, Sen. Sandy Onor, were seeking the disqualification of the APC candidate on the grounds that his running mate, Peter Odey, was not a member of the party and possesses dual citizenship.
