Tap yes id we can do it as igbos โคโคโค

  4. Wow it's been 12 years I visited Onitsha. I will say little improvement but too many things to put in other eg cleaning ๐Ÿงน and some major road constructions the main market road need serious attention. And iweka road to the iweka head bridge ๐ŸŒ‰ let me say Obiano 8 years did not tackle Onitsha compare to ngige and obi I hope soludo will try in this his only 4 years. Before LP takes over anambara goverment

  5. Please tell our governor to keep clean and keep onitsha clean. During peter Obi"s time as the governor of Anambra state he did these roads and also ฤทept these areas clean without talking too much.

  6. Onitsha is dirty and pls talk about the potholes and poor infrastructure of the entire Anambra state.. we from Awka Eititi based in Lagos state are disappointed

  7. Onitsha people don't believe that they are Igbos even though we them as our people… what a shame that they have some Fulani-headsmen eccentrism in their blood. So far I'm loving what I've seen as tangible improvement as compared to when I left Nigeria for US years back. I will love to visit again! CKC is my Alma mater. We call it 'amaka for boys' as a nickname. Our roads looks far much better than it was when I visited many years ago. I will love to come back to Onitsha to stay for my retirement.

  8. Onitsha is not a City my friend, a City must be Walled round with only one entry, the only city in Nigeria was Benin City and maybe Kano, then Not now any more, the walls of Benin and Kano has since been destroyed, ask the meaning of a City ok.
Onitsha is an Urban Slump, very dirty and dusty.

  9. Honestly, this city will look sooooo good and beautiful if Nigerians can be prevailed upon to stop messing up the environment. The making of a beautiful city is 50% governmental effort, and 50% citizenry effort. The government first and foremost has to build dedicated neighborhood markets, and then outlaw all street kiosks and street sellers. This is the same problem all over Nigeria. Too may street kiosks, with their filthy torn umbrellas and sellers and buyers alike littering everywhere. There must be trash/garbage cans on every block. No street kiosks or hawkers. Streets must be repaired, maintained and must be cleaned of trash and sand twice weekly. People must be stopped from just dumping sand and building materials on any road in front of their homes or buildings when they have constructions going on. Look at the guys at 26:21mins. He is mixing up some red sand right on the road there. Why won't the street be dirty and dusty with red sad? Laws must be enacted that no littering, no street dumping of any construction materials, etc. will be tolerated. Anybody who disobeyed must have a huge fine levied against him/her. The government must enact a zero tolerance for rule breakers. Then once the people have been brought into compliance, the government need to fix the roads, construct sidewalks. plants some trees along the streets, even put some potted plants at key locations, then cover the gutters. The government must also make sure people maintain their buildings and obey the laws.

  10. I don'tthink that Ahaba, which we know as Asaba today, is descendant of Umuezechima. According to Asaba indigenes, they migrated from NTEJE in Oyi local govt of Anambra state. Go and verify.

  11. Point of correction. Asaba is not in any way part of Umu Eze Chima. Its real name is AHABAM which is self explanatory. The white people who came as part of colonisation mispronounced it as Asaba and it has come to be called Asaba. Asaba since not being part of Umu Eze Chima does not have OBI but the Asagba of Asaba. The last person who was like Obi in Asaba was one Dr Edozie. He tried to label himself as the Obi but he was corrected by the Obis in Delta State Ibo speaking people. Please do your research properly before coming to say your briefing because it could be wrong and misleading. Asaba if originally was a place of settlement for the Igbos and other people who settled in Asaba.A similar scenario applies to Igbo Uzor, but now called Ibuzor or Igbuzor. Thanks.

  12. Hi to all/
King Saul & his soldiers were FAST asleep/ sedated while little David implemented God's will?
Saul the king awoke just to see the God's handwriting on the wall?

  13. Britain must thread carefully so that it will in the Declaration not be like King Saul v David?
    OPPORTUNITY
    Thy will be done today
TO receive blessings tomorrow & Ever lasting GRACE.AMEN.
We can not be in sins & in the expectation ask for abundant blessings.
    Time to change.
    Ask but shall not receive.
Hang on/whose daughter was cursed that never received the fruits of the womb . This is real, please.
Thanks Engr.G.Ajayi Snr as McKenzie 21/5/23

  14. So, with the best school Onitsha has and the biggest market with commerce industry, is that the best it can do with open gutters all along the streets? You barely see blooming trees along the main streets and the dusty sand all along the main streets. I don't think you can wear a business white shirt for more than two hours without washing it. For our ancestors sake, can the the local governments do something. Onitsha could attract more businesses if they fix all these issues. Also, they should get ride of all the old shack kiosks.

  15. Ohh my God, i donโ€™t know how i stumbled across your post.
I grew up partially here, went to QRC ohh my memorable childhood city โค
Here i am now in Scotland ๐Ÿ˜… what a life.
Thank you for this post, Iโ€™m definitely coming back to invest in this town, I love it, itโ€™s peaceful and natural.
We lived at Nkisi road, GRA

  16. OMG. Why the fuck don't you people clean your streets? Its not that difficult or expensive. All you have to do is purchase about 20 large Street cleaning trucks, and put them to work at midnight like they do here in the US. Look at all the sand buildup that has swallowed up the streets. I see this nonsense every time some Nigerian youtuber showcases how "great" their city is, but most of the time they look like shit holes.
    1. Bad roads covered with sand.
    2. Open gutters and no provision for sidewalks. They don't even bother to cover up the gutters and create sidewalks for pedestrians.
    3. No visible public transportation system such as City Buses. Public transportation is reduced to riding motorcycles and tricycles.
    4. No Sidewalks. Pedestrians are forced to share the road with vehicles.
    5. A lack of basic amenities and services like Police Stations, Fire departments, Hospitals, Clinics, Water treatment plants, Power Generating plants and sewage treatment plants.
    6. No visible downtown commercial district with high rise office buildings, Hotels, banks etc
    7. No parks, Zoos, playgrounds or green spaces for relaxation and recreation.
    8. A complete absence of a Grid Pattern City Planning. A grid pattern design is vital for services to be effective.
All these things I mentioned above are vital before you can claim to be "a city of commerce and culture"
Onitsha and Nigeria in general is so far behind, and it will take many decades to catch up with the rest of the world.

  17. The city is neglected and not maintained at all. The same is true for all Nigerian cities.
    Here is my suggestion:
citizens should reallocate the time they spend in churches and mosques to instead clean up their city and not waste it on worshipping the white man's God and the Arab man's God. This is essentially a self-imposed slavery.
