It is no secret that the residents of Anambra State have been hoping for a steady power supply to fuel their manufacturing activities, businesses, and homes. This hope has been repeatedly dashed, with many blaming the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) and the previous federal monopolistic energy law that denied state governments and the private sector full participation in power generation and distribution.

Do you know the contents of this MOU for you to be making these presumptive statements and questions.? Btw its an mou not a legally binding contract. And also how many years do you think it will take to fully actualise this 24hr electricity issue in naija states after the constitutional amendment. Do you think its just about passing law. Mind you we have had this problem for 60 plus years. Be constructive in your analysis not just reeling off statements with no substance. Lastly, on engineering technical grounds, how long do you think it takes to build a functional power plant plus its full systems from scratch to cover a whole state. You didn't mention anything about the technicalities. It's definitely not one year. At least 3 to 4years plus. Also what about the issue of gas which is a real constitutional problem because its exclusive list. Geometric after 20 years only just started and gas is still an issue for them now. Journalism need to be factual not sensational and it should be filled with knowledge.
It is embarrassing and disheartening that up to now, there is no indicator of Anambra having 24/7 light in the next one year. This is Soludo's worst performing sector.
