In the wee hours of 14 April 2014, Boko Haram seized 276 girls from their dormitories in Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State. The abduction made global headlines and birthed an international movement — #BringBackOurGirls. Despite the return of 194 girls, the fate of 82 others remained unknown, leaving their families and communities in anguish.
