Squatting in the hostel affect the health of the student, too many student in the room encourages poor ventilation, poor reading culture, and poor habit such as theft.
We used to call our room 'Stadium' in my 400level, none of us was actually allocated the said room, we were all squatting. I personally enjoyed the experience because everyone of us had a reason for been there and I am glad we made it out successful.
