These are some of the expectations of ndi Anambra now from Governor Soludo .

Security: Although there are some noticeable improvement, Soludo needs to do more in terms of security. Despite dealing with unknown gunmen, incidents of kidnapping and armed robbery are still prevalent. Prioritizing intelligence gathering and digitalization is necessary to address these issues effectively. There is need too to equip the police and vigilante with the latest gadget. Their vehicles which are now rickety should be replaced like Peter Obi and Obiano did. Soludo has not made any major investments or innovation in Anambra security architecture.

Local government elections: The failure of government to conduct local government election will continue to amount to excessive centralization of power in the hands of the governor. It is impossible for the governor to be present everywhere. Efficient governance abroad in places like UK and US emphasize the importance of engaging with grassroots communities. Empowering local governments to creatively solve problems and granting them financial autonomy is crucial to development.

Inspiration: Anambra lacks an inspirational leader. The current situation is disappointing, as the leader behaves like enemy of Ndi Anambra. Unlike, Peter Obi who was the greatest marketer of ndi Anambra, the current leadership is not promoting Anambra at all. It was Peter Obi that marketed the Innoson Vehicle Brand to the world. He promoted our best and made our people take pride in our State. Government cannot accomplish everything alone; it relies on the support of its citizens. Anambra is home to numerous billionaires and bright minds. When these individuals are inspired, they will strive to outperform each other. A positive example is the competition among billionaires in road construction, where they seek to exceed each other in the number of kilometers executed in their respective communities.

Touting: Anambra is gaining a reputation as the capital of touts in the country. The governor must urgently address and put an end to this issue. Anambrarians live in fear, whether driving, shopping in the market, or engaging in their daily activities, because a single misstep can attract these unruly individuals.

Road Infrastructure: While the governor claims to be constructing roads in the inner regions of Anambra State, urban development should be prioritized. It is disheartening that major markets in the state are presently inaccessible. The governor should also avoid opting for quick fixes in infrastructure development and instead focus on constructing durable and innovative roads. It is embarrassing that roads built by Ngige over 20 years ago are superior in quality and strategic significance compared to those being constructed today.
