There was pandemonium in Rivers State University (RSU) as gunmen killed a 400 level student of the Engineering Faculty of the institution.
The victim whose name could not be ascertained was said to have been shot dead in a canteen within the premises of Management Science.
A source identified as Emmanuel said that the incident occurred around 9am on Thursday morning and the victim was shot in the head.
