Two passenger trains collided in Andhra’s Vizianagaram district on October 29. At least 14 people were killed and 40 others injured in the accident that took place between Alamanda and Kantakapalli in the Vizianagaram-Kottavalasa railway section. The trains involved were the Visakhapatnam-Palasa train and the Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger Special.
