Why would he live in LA at this point. A complete dump surrounding his palisades home.
If his $$$ was good then live – & get piece of mind in a new city or, better yet, State. It's not the same hollywood he grew up in, the industry became a shole anyway, and at this point he'd make a good enough living doing nothing but podcasts after pickle ball.
I’m not really familiar with the Friends show but I do know him from 17 Again and this is just sad to hear that this happened TODAY. It doesn’t feel real at all. Just hoping the best for his family and everyone else who cared about him. May he rest in piece.
I was born in 79. I remember Matthew played in a parent/teenage comedy film with Tony Danza and Ami Dolenz, “She’s Out of Control”; released in 1989. Before he was on ‘Friends’.
Yes we'll be hearing about Matthew Perry for weeks to come. There will be different stories from different stations having multiple interviews and it'll get confusing, just like all the other stories the mainstream media has to offer!

Actor Matthew Perry's death is very tragic! I do remember him from "Friends". May his soul rest in peace and my heartfelt condolences are with his family.

May he rest in peace! So many struggles he had in life! He will truly be missed. You know even all stardom he had sometimes can’t even solve the problems he had in his personal life and although he tried helping others he still tried. He will always be remembered for his contribution he gave to us! Will always love him for all he gave us!
I had just gotten closer to finishing "Rugrats" on Paramount Plus, despite that Matthew Perry was not in this. Or "Nailed It" on Netflix. Or any black and white show I needed out of the way. I was shocked!

He was very quiet in his recent years due to his declining mental health.
