Actor Matthew Perry, best known for his role on “Friends,” has died from an apparent drowning, TMZ reports. He was 54 years old. Authorities responded to reports of a cardiac arrest at a Los Angeles-area home where Perry was located on Saturday, according to TMZ.
The circumstances surrounding the actor’s death remain unclear, although TMZ cited law enforcement sources that said no foul play was involved.

I’ve never been into Friends. As a matter of fact, I’ve never even watched a single episode in its entirety. But I know this cast, and how much they mean to people across the world. I was truly under the impression that all of them, Jennifer, Matthew, David, Lisa, Courteney, and Matt was going to live to be considered “old people”, like, senior citizens, not one dying alone in a hot tub at only 54. Matthew Perry, even for all the difficulties he’s had with his demons in the past, especially not him. I’m sorry to anybody affected by this loss, and may the Lord rest his soul.
