‘First UK Evacuation Flight From Sudan Lands in London’
A flight carrying more than 100 Britons has arrived in the UK as part of Downing Street’s evacuation efforts for nationals stuck in Sudan.
The plane touched down at Stansted Airport via Cyprus, bringing the total number of people the government has rescued to 301.
Adults and children were seen disembarking the jet before walking across the tarmac into the terminal building.

If they are going to continue towards the country then ok. But I’ve seen people way passed retirement age and so infirm they can hardly walk getting off the plane. The NHS is currently collapsing………….

These comments depress me. People are legitimately trying to argue that these UK nationals (who keep in mind were probably just visiting family for Ramadan, but contribute well to the economy) should be left behind because they're not "British". Literally just trying to argue that non-white UK Citizens should be abandoned, because I know this same energy would not be there if a white Albanian UK national was there.
