It's all about stopping the ethics committees investigations that would have exposed Gaetz. McCarthy refused to drop them, that's what this all about and why it all happened after McCarthy did the impossible and stopped the shutdown of the US government that would have stopped the ethics committee investigations. Gaetz is good buddies with Eric Trump so huge conflict of interest. Removing McCarthy has been a setback for America and the American people. Gaetz is corrupt and he is done. This isn't about any specific individual this is about what is best for America, the people of America have had enough with all the hubris with individuals putting themselves above the best interests of the nation and that's exactly what Gaetz did.
