I am with Matt! He and freedom caucus were trying to stop omnibus bills that are 5000 pages long that nobody reads and they just vote for? "You'll find out what's in the bill once we pass it" was the famous quote from then speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. What kind of way is that to govern as a representative of the people. They need to openly debate spending and policies one item at a time so We The People can know what OUR elected representative are doing! This is why we are trillions in debt and they were going to ad more. Gaetz is trying to return the House back to We The People instead of all the power consolidated with the speaker. Marxist Socialist radical left Democrats have destroyed many government institution over the last few years by changing the rules of how the institution works. If shutting down the government is what it takes to retake and reinstall transparency in government for the American people then by all means shut it down.

I like the idea of Donald Trump being the new speaker. Historically the speaker has been a member of the house, but these are radical times and change should be the order of the day. It also seems that a vacating speaker leaving a list of potential replacements is a dangerous practice. Now is the time for Republicans to unite and gut the Biden crime family and take back our country.

In my world, the campaign to elect President Trump has the "overwhelming momentum" to succeed! I believe the vast majority of others feel the same way I do now!
