A civil society organisation, YIAGA Africa, has expressed concern over the discovery of allegedly forged election results from a polling unit in Kogi State before the conclusion of the off-cycle elections held over the weekend.

The questionable results are said to have originated from Polling Unit 004 in Eni Ward, Ogori/Mangogo area of the state. YIAGA Africa raised the alarm through its social media handle, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct an investigation into the matter.

The alleged forged results, as per the attached copy, indicate that the All Progressives Congress (APC) received 200 votes, AA scored 1, while ADC, PDP, and SDP each received 2 votes. The revelation of such irregularities highlights the need for a thorough examination of the electoral process to ensure the integrity and credibility of the results.
