Tinubu destroyed local govt autonomy because of his quest to control the funds … Obasanjo fought this and even seized the funds accruing to Lagos state till he left office … That singular judgement from our corrupt justices at the supreme Court ( now we know exactly what happened considering the characters involved ) ended accountability in local govt administration… Today local govt cannot even build a common gutter in their areas … All these allocation coming from FG ends up as pocket money for govs , deputies and their wives and concubines. A reformed INEC should be the one organizing election for local govts which to me is even more important than state govts .
Something good can never come out from these set of greedy politicians. Less than 7 month a minister under tinubu government looted 4 billion plus, it means that such a person is ready to empty the treasury. What pains me , is her testimony at Shiloh (Pastor Oyedipo church) testifying how the man of lay hand on her to get a ministoria post. So many of them don't have any good plans, than to loot and empty the treasury of Nigerians. Thieves.

It is undemocratic . The grassroot people don't have the opportunity to elect their chairmen . Governors just impose people on them .
