I used to live in Rivers state in the 80's it was the most peaceful and most beautiful place to dwell in Nigeria. I still love the people of Rivers state and pray God to heal the state and restore peace in the land

People who never contributed to the Victory fubara is now speaking

The position of the FCT minister is a slot for Rivers State usurped by the current minister after eight years service as governor of the state. Rivers State citizens are watching. He should bear in mind that he is not an absolute. There other Rivers State sons and daughters who are equally capable of representing the state in such capacity. Thus, he is not superior to an average Rivers State citizen in Opobo or Etche or Okrika or Andoni or Degema etc. it’s reasonable for him to allow his successor to serve the people of Rivers State diligently just as he had the opportunity to govern the state without interference or political interruptions. Common sense demands that peace should prevail for the common good of all parties regardless of their interests. It’s very sad that the state is experiencing this level disorder in its polity.
