Very unfortunate decision from the Supreme Court . The election petition tribunal made the right decision. Am still perplexed why the Court of Appeal overturned the decision and now most unfortunately the Supreme Court affirmed that decision . Our Supreme Court is very inconsistent.
If the legislature don’t fix the electoral act 2022 to reduce ambiguity of the upcoming presidential election and governorship election then I smell anarchy this is just a little sign or the tip of the iceberg. The police and military will not have the arsenals or Human Resources to clamp down the public against bloody protests, the justice system should be very careful about how they change the dynamics of rule of law because the public believe they aid corruption, The electoral umpire will also be the first victim’s because they are changing the post in the middle of a game.
