In a bid to promote healthy living in the midst of Akwa Ibom residents, the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has conducted free medical services to over 128 residents, including the elderly as part of its Corporate social responsibility.
Declaring the outreach open, Commandant Eluwade Eluyemi explained that the medical outreach is a way of giving back to the host communities who have been supportive of Corps in realizing its core mandates, especially with intelligence sharing.
Some of the beneficiaries commended NSCDC for offering free healthcare service to their community, saying that it is the first of its kind.
