Kaduna State ministerial nominee, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, collapsed during his ministerial screening exercise in the Senate. The former Secretary to Kaduna State Government appeared alongside Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State for screening today. Senate President, Godswill Akpabio was heard rallying members to give the nominee ‘water and sugar’ to resuscitate him.

Senate President Akpabio was right when he demanded water mixed with sugar. It could possibly be the man who fainted was caused as a result of "hypoglycemia" (low in body sugar for energy). It could be he is diabetic.
