Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says current hardships being faced by Nigerians over the rejection of old naira notes and the scarcity of new notes despite the supreme court judgement is unfortunate, undesirable and uncalled for.
Governor Akeredolu, during a state broadcast, harped on the need to halt what he described as self induced pain.
The governor appealed to commercial banks to make the new notes readily available while urging the public not to reject the old notes as legal tender.
