Food Security: IFAD LIFE-ND enrolls more mentees in Ondo State

The Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise in the Niger Delta, LIFE-ND, A counterpart arrangement between The Federal government, the International Fund for Agriculture Development, IFAD, the Ondo State Government and the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, to improve agriculture and empower Niger delta youths has enrolled 2000 youths across the three senatorial districts of Ondo state for the fifth edition of it’s mentorship training programme.

Addressing the beneficiaries at Idanre, the State Project Coordinator, Olawale Ademola said the goal of the programme is to transform Nigerian Youths, create Job opportunities, ensure food security and improve the Nation’s Economy.

OSRC’s Joy Pius reports that 14,250 youths have benefited across the 6 states of รbรญรก, Bayelsa, cross River, Delta and Ondo state since the inception of the Programme in 2020.
