EDO STATE NEEDS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT,JUST UPGRADE THE CURRENT AIRPORT IN BENIN TO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT;WATCH AND SEE THE ECONOMY BOOM,THE BENIN AIRPORT WAS BUILT IN 1956,MAKING IT ONE OF THE OLDEST IN NIGERIA.

It takes up to 2 hours to travel from Benin City to Ekpoma, a distance that use to take 30 to 45 minutes. Travelling from Benin City to Warri and Sapele is a no-go area. The Governor has always use Federal Roads as an excuse for not fixing the worst section of these roads. During my secondary school days in early 70s, part of location of industry is manpower, raw material, security, good roads, water supply and electricity. Who in their right mind is coming to invest in Edo State. Buying and selling is not investment, in terms of creating job.
If Obaseki have he should have woed most igbo traders in lagos to Edo state with a very lucrative incentives, set up a big motor parts and merchandise markets along Benin ore road to serve both northern and east and southern states which would have increase the state revenue
