I love Rufai, but I think this interview was really professional. Mr. Rufai saying ”you politicians” was actually disrespectful. Also, him reiterating constantly that he will not give money or rice to get votes or buy people’s conscience was really unnecessary and embarrassing. Mr. Rufai, please watch this interview and put yourself in the shoes of the politician. Don’t get me wrong, the man apparently does not understand fully where EDO is and where he wants to take them to. However, it does not call for the attack I saw at the very first question Mr. Rufai asked. Please, look at this and make adjustments. You can’t keep interjecting like that. It could get to a point that it overshadows the good intentions of the interview. The man was not upset with the word nebulous but with the ‘you politicians’ statement. Instead of you to address that and apologize to him, you started to school him on the meaning of nebulous which was also very demeaning. That’s not professional at all. Please, you need to stop interrupting your guests like that. It’s not looking good at all.

As much as I respect and appreciate Rufai posing the 'difficult' questions to guests..he needs to be a bit more professional in asking his questions so he doesn't appear so combative. At some point it looked like a shouting match…kept cutting the guest short, gaslighitng the guest and all. Even when it was obvious the guests came ill prepared, he at least still deserves some professional respect. Just saying.
