The crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has escalated with APC Ehaje Ward 1 in Owukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area, passing a vote of no confidence in the state party chairman, Austin Agada. In a statement released on Wednesday, eight members of APC Ehaje Ward 1 announced the vote of no confidence and also claimed to have suspended Agada.

According to the ward members, Agada has been engaged in anti-party activities, and when invited by the executive committee, he allegedly ignored the invitation. However, Austin Agada, in a swift response, declared the suspension null and void.

The internal discord within the party reflects the ongoing political challenges in Benue State, and the resolution of such conflicts will be crucial for the party’s stability in the region. 🇳🇬🗳️
