I was honored to welcome the esteemed members of the Imo State council of elders during their congratulatory visit today. I expressed sincere gratitude for their unwavering support and acknowledged the significance of their contributions to our society.
While reassuring the council of my dedication to not disappoint the people during my tenure, I commended the council for their instrumental role in crafting the charter of equity, emphasizing that this victory marks the commencement of its enforcement.
Having made a commitment to uphold the principles outlined in the charter for the benefit of all Imo citizens, I consider this resounding victory as an agreement by ndi Imo for the charter to live on and I will ensue its full implementation.
