This video is about the Bayer safe use ambassador program which is aims to create good stewardship amongst people that interact with crop protection products. In its pilot program in Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University zaria was chosen as the institution to participate in the program. As safe use ambassadors we are tasked with spreading knowledge among farmers on how to safely use the crop protection products. In this video we focused on 24 local women vegetable farmers from the community of bizarra where we trained them on how to use the crop protection products to protect themselves and their environment.
