  1. Naija na funny place sha. That the construction company handling this rd needed the works minister's push to take it's job seriously, when mtn was & is providing full funding (thru rd tax credit scheme) for the job beats my imagination. But good thing they've picked up the pace.
Which brings me to another puzzle: does it mean Alaigbo doesn't have high net worth individuals (HNWI) or run companies that can atleast join together to take on this road tax credit schemes? The HNWI in atleast the north & SW seem to be the only players in the game

  2. This is what we have been saying all along. Gov Soludo should start thinking of how to partner or reach an agreement with coys like RCC, Craneburg, JB, Setraco, CCECC, et al for the construction of strategic Anambra roads. I know ANSG lacks the funds to execute world class roads but there is always a way an agreement can be reached in achieving these types of roads.

  3. This section of the road is definitely 3 lane, but the other side is 2 lane though.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿ˜‚With the changes and specifications Dave umahi introduced, the roads Nigerians are going to be seeing now are going to be impressive indeed. The minister got the contractors to sign a 15 years guarantee on asphalt roads and 50 years on concrete grade 40.Apart from the ministry of works supervision,he got coren certified consultant as well to supervise every job and they are all based on site.Meaning their eyes and hands are on ground, supervising every stage of work to meet the spec..lnfact Dave umahi is going for even higher specification of road than what he constructed in Ebonyi,he is using the hitech apapa oshodi highway specifications on rigid pavement…Nigerians will be amazed when they start seeing the concrete roads soon hopefully..Nice work mr.chinedu, welldone!Thank you.

  4. No drainage your constructing road in Anambra state with out drainage very funny, Nigeria can never stop to amazing me, only thirty minutes rain will fed up every where not talk of three hours heavy rain, if is soludo is one constructing this road now may people will start to attack him how can he constructing road with drainage system, is very a shameful thing that Nigeria never do things the way a development nation does, i rest my case.

  5. Sidewalks are not meant for interstate roads even in urban sections because they are fast roads and also limited access dual carriage roads, that is why you have double kerbs at the middle to prevent interference on traffic. You are only provided with lay by and shoulders even in the US interstate

  6. Mr Umahi should issue a directive that no road should be considered completed without appropriate lane markings and traffic signs in place. Contractors flouting the directive should be barred from bidding for road contracts.
