We are honoured to announce the completion of the refurbishment of the Mala Kachalla Model School in Maiduguri, Borno state, one of the Stanbic IBTC ‘Adopt-A-School’ beneficiaries.
The school has undergone a significant facelift, including the addition of classroom blocks with modern furniture, a fully equipped computer laboratory, upgraded toilet facilities with running water for improved sanitation, the installation of a playground for students’ recreational activities, and tree planting to help combat climate change and improve the quality of air.
These initiatives aim to improve both the educational journey and the well-being of students, creating a nurturing atmosphere for learning and development for 3,500 students and 150 teachers. Over 870,000 community members will also benefit from these initiatives.
