A case has been filed in Burewala against more than fifty people, including officials and candidates of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The accusations are related to remarks made at rallying for the general elections scheduled for February 8. The accused allegedly violated the Sound System Act, made provocative and anti-institutional speeches in public, and held signs criticizing the leaders of various institutions.
Notably, those named in the case include PTI’s candidates for the National Assembly, Ayesha Nazir Jutt, and Provincial Assembly, Khalid Nisar Dogar and Arifa Nazir Jutt.
SHO Police Station City Khalid Gujjar filed the case.
